Genious of acoustic guitar. He lives in Marbella, in the Costa del Sol(Spain).

He´s remarkably good at South American Folklore fusion, blending styles like Jazz, Caribbean music and other styles.

Within his greatest achievements we can mention the 2nd position in the Folk Guitar World Championship, celebrated in Campioni ( Italy ) as well as innumerable world tours.

He has developed his own technique which he has improved along his career.

During the last 15 years, he´s been accompanied on the bass by his son Ernesto Hernández Peñaranda.
